Intrinsic Parameters
These values describe the internal properties of the camera and lens combination. They form the camera matrix.
fx, fy: The focal length of the lens expressed in pixel units. These values represent the scaling factor between the 3D world and the 2D image plane.
cx, cy: The principal point, which is the coordinate of the point on the image sensor where the optical axis intersects. It's usually close to the center of the image.
k1, k2, k3: Radial distortion coefficients. These parameters model the "barrel" or "pincushion" distortion, where straight lines in the real world appear curved in the image, especially near the edges.
p1, p2: Tangential distortion coefficients. These model distortions that occur when the lens is not perfectly parallel to the image sensor plane.
SD (Standard Deviation): This value represents the uncertainty or estimated error for each calculated parameter. A lower SD indicates a more confident and reliable measurement.
Focal Length (mm) & FOV (degrees): If you provide the camera's pixel size in the settings, these physically intuitive values can be calculated.
- Focal Length (mm): The true focal length of the lens.
- Field of View (FOV): The angle of the observable world that the camera can capture.
Extrinsic & Positioning Parameters
Camera Absolute Position (X, Y, Z): The physical location of the camera in 3D space, measured in millimeters relative to the CAD model's origin point.
Frustum Projection Depth: The simulated working distance from the camera sensor to the target object. It visualizes the pyramid-shaped field of view (frustum) and calculates the exact physical area (in mm) the camera covers at that specific distance.
Camera Rotation (Pitch, Yaw, Roll): The orientation of the camera on its axes. Use the 5° step buttons to easily tilt or pan the camera and simulate different mounting angles.

Note on 3D Files: Ensure that your STL 3D models are exported in millimeters (mm) for accurate visual scaling against the camera lens frustum.
